Share 3.5 inch SATA or IDE Drive Wirelessly The WMU-6500FS is a wireless file server with one 3.5" Hard Drive bay and 2 USB 2.0 ports. Therefore, you can install any 3.5" SATA or IDE Hard Drive and share it instantly on the network. Users can use My Network Place to access the Hard Drive. Even set it as a network Drive. So you can save or read files directly. The WMU-6500FS can set username and password to limit access only to certain users. Best of all, Internet user can access the device throughput standard FTP client.

Download Agents with QoS In addition to wireless file sharing, WMU-6500FS comes with Internet Download Agent*. It supports BitTorrent, HTTP, or FTP formats. You can even limit the download and upload speed so the download agent won't take away your entire Internet bandwidth. Now, you can free the downloading task to your WMU-6500FS.

Turbo-G Wireless Multifuncton AP The AirLive WMU-6500FS is equipped with the ultra fast Turbo-G wireless technology. It can transfer data at 1.5X the speed of normal Wireless-G when using with other Turbo-G devices. But it is also compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b standards, so it is compatible with virtually all wireless devices. Furthermore, the multi-function wireless AP offers 4 separate wireless modes : AP, WDS Bridge, WDS Repeater, and Ethernet Client.
